In an attempt to help with traffic safety the Oshkosh Police Department is implementing the following change on the corner of Bismarck Street and Eagle Street:
If you are going East on Bismarck you are required to take a right hand turn.
Police officers will be out to assist with this new change.
~ Please Slow Down ~
The corner of Bismarck and Eagle Streets can be especially dangerous for our students before and after school.
Please slow down and watch for pedestrians.

Wisconsin Forward Testing
Tipler/ALPs students will be completing the Wisconsin Forward Exams during the week of April 10-14. Please make every attempt to be sure your student is at school during this important testing time. Thank you!

Oshkosh West Dance Team Tryouts!
Attention all dancers! The Oshkosh West dance team is hosting tryouts for the 2023-2024 season on March 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th from 4pm-6pm in the F-room. There will also be a mandatory parents meeting Monday March 13th at 6pm after practice. Interested dancers will learn a short routine and learn expected tryout skills. Art News
from the desks of Mrs. Meyer & Mrs. ElgersmaIt’s art show season with March being Youth Art Month!
Our local celebrations will be taking place throughout March in Oshkosh.
ArtSpace Collective will host the display of student artwork for Youth Art Month from all Oshkosh Area School District schools.
The Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest/Show will be held throughout the month in the lower level at the Oshkosh Public Library. This is the 151st anniversary of Helen Farnsworth Mears, an acclaimed sculptor born in Oshkosh in 1872.

OASD eAcademy 2023-24 Enrollment Period
The Oshkosh Area School District is pleased to announce the 2023-24 enrollment period for the District’s eAcademy, a fully online program for grades K-12. The enrollment period will take place from March 8 through March 28, 2023, at 3 p.m., which will allow students to enroll in eAcademy for the full 2023-24 school year. LEARN MORE! The Oshkosh Area School District eAcademy is a fully online program for grades K-12. eAcademy is partnered with the Wisconsin eSchool Network, which is a collaborative network of online programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. The program has been developed in collaboration with online learning experts and is based on years of research and best practices for excellence in virtual learning. Students who participate in the OASD eAcademy enjoy all the benefits of being an OASD student, including earning an OASD diploma and participating in their home school extracurriculars, while receiving a customized, student-centered education that meets individual educational and social needs.

Students being dropped off before school and picked up after school need to do so on Bismarck Street.
*Cars are NOT allowed in the circle drive.
*Please DO NOT stop or stand on Eagle Street.

parking lot.

Attendance Procedure at ALPs Charter School
Parents/guardians are expected to notify the school by 9am on the day of absence.
Call 920-424-0349 - leave a message if the secretary does not answer.
ABSENCE REASONS:
*APPOINTMENT - state the date and time of the appointment.
*PERSONAL EXCUSE - you do not need to give a reason, but you can if you would like.
*ILL - state your child's symptoms or if they have received a diagnosis from a doctor. If more information is needed, a school nurse may give you a call back.
*VACATION - state the dates your child will be absent and when they are returning to school.
