ALPs Governing Board Meetings provide an opportunity for parents and staff to discuss various aspects of our charter school. Meetings are informal and a great way to meet other parents. We discuss upcoming field trips, school events, fundraising ideas, curriculum, etc. There is no pressure to speak, and we do not "sign people up" for things. We appreciate your interest, input and the opportunity to get to know you better.

What is done during a meeting?
We begin with an agenda created by our principal and teachers based on the needs of our school. Additional topics brought in by parents are added to the "walk-in agenda items" and are discussed after the initial agenda has been discussed. We are highly respectful of the meeting time frame; if topics need more discussion, they may be tabled for the next meeting.
Do you need to sign up and/or attend all meetings?
No. Please attend when your schedule allows it.
If I'm unable to attend, how will I know what happened?
Meeting minutes are shared with all families within a week of each meeting.
