Important Information for ALPs Families

ALPs Charter Attendance (Absences, Appointments, Pre-Approved Absences)

ABSENCES

Please call or email the ALPs office if your child is ill or has an appointment. Attendance is shared with Tipler Middle School staff and West High School (if applicable). 424-0349 Please leave a detailed voice message if the secretary is away from her desk.

Because your child could be anywhere in the school, knowing about appointments ahead of time helps us to have your child ready and prepared to leave/return to classes.

APPOINTMENTS

If your child is leaving during school hours, they may sign themselves out in the ALPs office and wait for you by DOOR #1 (circle drive). Students must wait INSIDE until you are parked safely, then they may exit the building.

Upon returning, students need to walk past the Tipler office and let them know they are signing in with the ALPs Charter secretary. Students will sign in upstairs in our office and receive a pass to class from the secretary. This process ensures that your child's attendance times are accurately noted, and informs the teacher that he/she has checked back in.

WHAT IF... My child has an appointment, forgot their lunch, homework, shorts, instrument, etc.?

All school entrances are LOCKED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. When approaching the main entrance (circle drive, door #1) press the button on the system mounted on the side wall, right side. Announce who you are to the secretary when she asks, stating the purpose of your visit. The secretary will "buzz" you in. ADULTS MUST STOP at the Tipler office to sign in and wear a visitor label. Please remember to SIGN OUT before leaving the building.

ALPs Charter School, and the entire Oshkosh Area School District, is proud to partner with individuals, community organizations, and businesses to help our students and our schools succeed.

Volunteer today! If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete the online application by clicking below. Once you've completed/submitted the application, please notify the ALPs school main office (920.424.0349).
NOTE: A volunteer application is valid from the date of authorization through the last day of the current school year; a volunteer application must be completed every school year.

Kwik Trip Scrip Program

Did you know that you can raise money for ALPs Charter School just by shopping?!

ALPs Charter School participates in the Kwik Trip Scrip Program.

Effective Sept. 30, 2023, all remaining balances on Kwik Trip gift cards will not receive the rebate percentage. The school will continue to earn 5% on Kwik Trip "Gas & Gift" card purchases and 15% on "Grocery only" card purchases.

No sign-up or commitment required. Orders are placed on a monthly basis and you can order based solely on when you need more.

The profit we earn from basically doing nothing is amazing. If you are shopping there anyway, it's a great way to help your child’s school. Money earned is used for ALPs Charter students.

You may send payment and ordering information to school with your child. Refer to the Kwik Trip Order Form for increments that are available to order.
Payments are due at the time of the order; cash/checks payable to ALPs Charter School
Ordering is done once each month - Check the monthly newsletter for the exact date each month.
Gift cards are delivered to school within two days.
Gift cards can be picked up by parents or sent home with students.
