8th Grade - Teen Money Field Trip

with Ms. Torine & Mrs. Schultz

Our 8th grade Teen Money classes benefit from taking a semester long, financial literacy class. At the end of the semester, the students take a trip to Junior Achievement Finance Park in Appleton for a day. Each student is given the identity of a working adult for a day and must create a budget as they look at the costs of renting or home ownership, buying a car, utilities, purchasing daycare, clothing the family, grocery shopping and all of the other financial responsibilities of someone living on their own. Part of the day will also be taking a tour of FVTC.

**This semester's Field Trip is scheduled for December 10th.
**It is a full-day field trip, boarding the bus at 8:30am and returning at 3:30 pm.
