Wisconsin Forward Testing
Tipler/ALPs students will be completing the Wisconsin Forward Exams during the week of April 10-14. Please make every attempt to be sure your student is at school during this important testing time. Thank you!

Art News

It's art show season with March being Youth Art Month.
Our local celebrations will be taking place throughout March in Oshkosh.
ArtSpace Collective - an art gallery located at 7 Merritt Avenue, March 4 - March 23, will host the display of student artwork for Youth Art Month from all Oshkosh Area School District schools. Opening will be on March 4, 6-9pm. Regular gallery hours will be Wednesdays & Thursdays 5-8pm, Saturdays 10am-1pm, and Sundays 1-4pm.
The following student artwork will be on display:
6th graders - Sylvia M and Jocelyn H
7th grader - Lucy H
8th grader - Lillianna B
The Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest/Show - celebrating the artwork of 7th and 8th grade students throughout the state, will be held throughout the month in the lower level of the Oshkosh Public Library, located at 106 Washington Avenue. A reception for all participating students and their families will be held on March 12, 1:30-3pm.

The Annual Oshkosh K-12 Art Show - held at the Masonic Temple at 204 Washington Ave. will take place on March 11, 4-7pm.

The Art Rooms are always looking for newspaper donations to use with projects. Please consider saving any newspapers you might get and dropping them off at school or send them with your student(s). Newspapers are always welcome in the art rooms!

Oshkosh West Dance Team Tryouts!
Attention all dancers! The Oshkosh West dance team is hosting tryouts for the 2023-2024 season on March 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th from 4pm-6pm in the F-room. There will also be a mandatory parents meeting Monday March 13th at 6pm after practice. Interested dancers will learn a short routine and learn expected tryout skills. OASD eAcademy 2023-24 Enrollment Period
The Oshkosh Area School District is pleased to announce the 2023-24 enrollment period for the District’s eAcademy, a fully online program for grades K-12. The enrollment period will take place from March 8 through March 28, 2023, at 3 p.m., which will allow students to enroll in eAcademy for the full 2023-24 school year. LEARN MORE! The Oshkosh Area School District eAcademy is a fully online program for grades K-12. eAcademy is partnered with the Wisconsin eSchool Network, which is a collaborative network of online programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. The program has been developed in collaboration with online learning experts and is based on years of research and best practices for excellence in virtual learning. Students who participate in the OASD eAcademy enjoy all the benefits of being an OASD student, including earning an OASD diploma and participating in their home school extracurriculars, while receiving a customized, student-centered education that meets individual educational and social needs.
